I am going to be starting WoW in the next few days and i have never played. I will be a complete noob, so im looking for some insight on to what i should be for a first timer. im going to use the 14 day trial from mountain dew to decide if i like it or not.

i play mostly horde, but alliance is generally easier. i hear alliance is wear all the noobs start, so you may want to go alliance to begin with.
if your looking for something easy and basic, go with a human warrior. the human quests are simple and easy to follow, and warrior is considered the "basic" class. human paladins are also good. paladins are way more fun to play then warriors. i dont have any strong warriors cuz i get bored from them, but they are more basic. paladins also have a heal, and for noobs, its always good to have a heal. if your looking for something pretty easy, rogues are pretty fast levelers and fun to play. hunters are the fastest levelers, but the first 9 levels are tricky since you dont have ur pet yet. night elves are the best hunters and rogues on alliance, although gnomes make pretty good rogues due to high agility and small size. dwarves also make ok hunters, not as good as night elves imo. if you like that starting location better then go with dwarf.
overall, id say that human paladin or night elf/gnome rogue would be the best for u. human warrior or night elf/dwarf hunter in 2nd place.
ok, so, pick the horde side. they are the coolest. all of the races are good, but i like the undead guys. now, ur class depends on what u want to do, like healing a person in battle, or just being another damage source. Like, a hunter or rogue is damage dealing, were as a priest or shaman are healing, like there spells are designed to heal people instead of kill. damage dealer classes are always fun, so, i would try either a hunter, rogue, or warlock, but that’s just my opinion, just mess around with the races and classes to see which u like best.
